Dorothy L. Martin was born October 30, 1945 to Forrest and Ruth (Clark) Holiday in Silver City, Iowa. She passed away January 17, 2018 at Tekamah Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tekamah, Nebraska, at the age of 72.

Dorothy lived in Colorado for several years, then moved back to help care for her parents. After her parents passed away, she met and married Ralph Martin in Tekamah, and they moved to Arizona.

Dorothy was active in her church and spent a lot of time with Ralph and her friends in Arizona. When Ralph passed away, she moved back to Tekamah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents; brother, Alvin; nephew, Robert Holiday.

She is survived by her dog, Scruffy; brothers, Frank (Linda) Holiday of Decatur, NE, Jerry (Linda) Holiday of Kennard, NE, Dan (Ann) Holiday of Omaha, NE; sister, Dianna (Terry) Pickell of Tekamah; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
