John Molander, 53, of Blair, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at the funeral home.

John Molander was born July 27, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., to Raymond and Jean Molander. He spent a number of years working in the broadcasting business. His greatest joy in life was his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie, of Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Rachel; grandson, Dexter; stepchildren, Emilee, Eliott, Alex and Caleb Scheffler; stepgrandson, Jameson; and sister, Ruth Murnick of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sarah Joe Molander.
