Survived by wife, Virginia of Cedar Bluffs; son, Roger (Megan) Timperley of Lincoln; daughter, Angie (Justin) Adams of Mead; grandchildren: Mercades Kennedy, Karissa, Kaylee and Landon Adams, James Timperley; father, Kenneth Timperley of Blair; brothers, Kenneth (Annette) Timperley Jr. of Fremont and Keith Timperley of Omaha; sisters, Beverly (Gary) Buhrman of Wisner and Lynette (Jeff) Kempcke of Blair. Roger R. Timperley Sr., age 64 of Cedar Bluffs

Died January 3, 2018 at his home.

Survived by wife Virginia of Cedar Bluffs, son Roger (Megan) Timperley, Jr of Lincoln, daughter Angie (Justin) Adams of Mead, Grandchildren: Mercades Kennedy, Karissa, Kaylee & Landon Adams, James Timperley; Father Kenneth Timperley, Sr. of Blair, Brothers Kenneth (Annette) Timperley, Jr. of Fremont and Keith Timperley of Omaha, Sisters Beverly (Gary) Buhrman of Wisner and Lynette (Jeff) Kempcke of Blair.

Preceded in death by mother Lucile E. Timperley and father-in-law Marvin Reed.

Roger was a 1971 Westside High Graduate. He was a faithful employee for Lyman Richey for more than 30 years. An avid hunter, angler and golfer. Roger loved and was loved by family and friends alike. He was a loyal friend and always ready to lend a hand when needed. Roger fought a brave and difficult 11-month battle with cancer.

Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church Monday, January 8, 2018 with family from 5 pm to 8 pm. Memorial Service Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 10:30 am also at Trinity Lutheran Church (1546 N. Luther Road, Fremont).
