Donald E. was born November 18, 1938 to Elmer and Grace (Lipps) Williams in Breckenridge, Minnesota. He passed away March 5, 2018 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 79 years.

Donald began working as a deckhand for Kiewit Barge Line when he was a young man. He loved Husker football, Coca-Cola and having a smoke. He enjoyed a good game of snooker or eight ball and he loved telling old stories and jokes.

Donald E. Williams, Sr. passed away March 5, 2018 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 79 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elmer Williams, Jr.; sisters, Violet Hauge and Marlys Brown; step-daughter, Lori Robinson.

He is survived by his son, Don Jr. of Omaha; daughter, Cindy Forbes of Denver, CO; brother, Arthur Rusty Williams of Pierre, SD; sister, Barbara Sklenar of Tekamah, NE; many nieces and nephews

Visitation 4-6 pm Thursday, Pelan Funeral Services, 1103 J Street , Tekamah, NE, and one hour prior to the 10:30 Friday Funeral Services at the funeral home.
