MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Monday, March 12 at 11am at First Lutheran Church in Blair with a luncheon following. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Pamela Ann Petersen, age 77, of Blair passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on March 8.

Pamela Ann (Stronberg) Petersen was the daughter of Paul and Mildred Stronberg, born October 10, 1940 in Omaha. She grew up in Omaha and graduated high school from Omaha Central in 1958. Graduated from Omaha University in 1962 and taught 7th grade English in District 66.

On Aug. 12, 1967 she married the love of her life Roger H. Petersen at Morningside Lutheran Church. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Pam was an avid reader and she loved books of all kinds especially mysteries. But, most if all she enjoyed sharing and reading to her children and grandchildren. Pam loved her time as Public Relations Director at Crowell Memorial Home. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, AAUW, Kiwanis, Friends of the Library and a very special bridge club of friends that became family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a very special Aunt Vera and Uncle Dan O'Connell.

She is survived by her husband Roger, sons: Steve (Christine) Petersen, Scott Petersen; daughter Cindy (Jimmy) McGroarty; grandchildren Klaire, Grahm, Elizabeth, and Asher Petersen, Molly and Rutger McGroarty; sister Lois Murray, as well as extended family and many great friends.

Memorial service was held Monday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Blair with a luncheon following.

Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Library, Crowell Memorial Home and Visiting Nurses Association (VNA).
