Helen Fitch, 90, of Blair, did on Jan. 8, 1989 at Memorial Community Hospital.

Helen was born on Sept. 11, 1898 in Lompoc, Ca. She was married to Wallace Fitch. Helen moved to Blair in May of 1981 from Hermosa, Ca.

Helen was a member of the Blair VFW Auxiliary.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; her first husband, Tom; and a son, Bill.

Survivors include her husband Wallace of Blair; step-sons, Roger and Bernard, both of Blair; step-daughters, Joyce Fitch of Blair and Kathryn (Mrs. Milton) Sorensen, also of Blair; one daughter-in-law, June Reukema of Oregon; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. Pastor Owen Wilmot will officiate. Donna Ball will provide the organ music and the vocalist is to be Dorothy Wilmot.

Pallbearers are Mitch Sorensen, Lowell Sorensen, Nick Thallas, Wally Fitch, Lindsey Stark and Mike Fitch.

Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair.
