Velma E. Bohs, age 102 of Blair, passed away March 14, 2018, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Private graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday March 16, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Velma E. Bohs was born on October 16, 1915, in Washington County, the daughter of Edna (Greenough) Mundorf. Velma was extremely family oriented and was a chaperone on countless school activities of her daughters, Sally and Shirley. She loved sewing; making numerous outfits for her daughters including majorette uniforms, tap dance and ballet costumes. Velma loved playing bridge and bowling; she went bowling two nights a week in leagues and traveled the country going to bowling tournaments. She was the Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and was active in the Extension Clubs.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Moore of Blair; sister, Mary of Fremont; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Bohs; daughter, Sally Sue Delaney; sister, Iris Johnson; and brother, Russell Mundorf.
