Grace Alberta Kerstetter, age 97, of Kennard, passed away March 15 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Burial will follow in the Kennard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 20, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair beginning at 2 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m.

Grace A. Kerstetter was born on Oct. 21, 1920, in Elkhorn, the daughter of Hans and Minnie (Mockleman) Peetz. She graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1939. On May 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Stanley A. Kerstetter at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. She was an active member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard serving in Alter Guild and Ladies Circle. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living member of Emmaus Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children: Roger and Billie of Madera, Calif., Ken and Cindy of Kennard, Ron and special friend Karen of Kennard, Kathleen and Bill Echtenkamp of Kennard, and Janece and James Stratman of Bennington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley, grandson, Brent Kerstetter, sister, Barbara Dillon, brother, Clarence Peetz, sister, Verna Schomer and brother, Glenn Peetz.

Memorials are suggested to Emmaus Lutheran Church.
