Mrs. Fitch, 92, Died Here Sunday Mrs. Louie Ethel Fitch, 92 years of age, of Herman, died on Sunday at the Kelley Rest Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Herman Methodist Church with interment in the Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. Fitch, the former Louie Ethel Cooper, was born Sept. 24, 1869, at Kirkwood, Ill. Her husband, the late John Fitch, died several years ago. Mrs. Fitch is survived by two sons, Wallace (Squire) Fitch of Blair and Roscoe Fitch of Prescott, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Dave Rutledge of Herman; a brother, Bert Cooper, of California; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Louie Fitch, Longtime Resident, Died Sunday

Services for Mrs. Louie Fitch were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Herman with Rev. Percy Bruns in charge. Mrs. Fitch was the daughter of Henry and Jane Cooper. She was born in Kerwood, Ill, Sept 24, 1868 and passed away at the Kelley Rest Home in Blair March 25, 1962. She came with her parents to Herman when 17 years of age. She was married to John Fitch of Herman and to this union four sons were born. She is survived by two sons, Roscoe of Prescott, Arizona, and Wallace of Blair. Leland passed away at the age of one year and Clyde October 30, 1932. She had great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. D. W. Rutledge, also survives.

She lived almost her entire life in Herman and was a great worker in the Methodist Church. At one time she was president of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Easter Star Chapter.

Pallbearers were Clyde Fitch, George Fitch, Roger Fitch, Donald Holstein, Bill Rutledge and Milton Sorensen.
