Leo Francis Brewer Sr. of Fort Collins, Colo., passed away March 18, 2018, at Spring Creek Health Care Center in Fort Collins. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will follow services in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Leo was born May, 19,1938, in Albia, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Leona (Sleeth) Brewer. He graduated from Ottumwa High in 1956, after which he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Pate. They moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and spent many happy years there before moving to Persia and Avoca, Iowa, prior to moving to Blair. His children were his life and he spent countless hours at sporting events watching them play.

He retired from MJ Optical and moved to Fort Collins, where he enjoyed bowling, golf, and traveling.

He is survived by his children: Debra (Kirk) Wilson, Teresa (Rick) Clabaugh, Leonard Kelly, Leo Brewer, Clint Brewer, Tina (James) Bilslend; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Genevieve Emanuel; sister-in-law, Fern Pate; numerous nieces and nephews throughout Iowa, Nebraska and Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents, brothers: Harold and Donald, sisters: Cleo, Velta and Donna, daughter Cynthia Niemann, daughter in law Melodie Brewer, granddaughter Gina Quick and great grandson Jasper Marchand.
