Frank J. Effenberger Dies From Injuries

Frank J. Effenberger was fatally injured in an elevator at the Omaha National Bank building on Thursday afternoon of last week, dying at Ford hospital two hours later.

Mr. Effenberger was a passenger in the elevator which was being operated by a Mrs. Cline, and it is said, attempted to leave the elevator after it had left the fifth floor, getting the door only partially opened. His limbs were caught between the floor and the elevator, his left leg sustaining a compound fracture and his right leg seriously injured, besides received scalp wounds and other bruises.

Mr. Effenberger was a resident of Blair for a couple of years, he and his family living on east South Street, and he was in partnership with James A. Sip in the clothing business here. He was a very pleasant, agreeable gentleman, and well liked by everyone. He leaves a wife, three sons, Robert, Frank and Bernard, and a baby daughter, Mary, fifteen months old who was born in Blair.
