William H. Meeves, 79 of Blair, passed away March 30, 2018 at his home in Blair. Following his wishes, no services will be held.

William was born on April 5, 1938 in Odebolt, Iowa, the son of Charlie and Alamita Meeves. He attended school in Denison, Iowa and graduated from Denison High School. He proudly served his country as a sailor in the United States Navy. On July 9, 1959 he was united in marriage to Sharon Babb in Omaha. William worked as a union carpenter for many years.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, son Charles (Tami) Meeves and Jaydn, son Aarron (Molly) Meeves, daughter Marla Fletcher, grandchildren Billy (fiancee Jesicca) and Eric (Kelly) Fletcher, Cathleen, Mallory, Travis, Josey and Orrin, great-grandson Nolen Fletcher, sisters Doris and Audrey, niece Christine and nephews Mike and Ricky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jordan, William's brothers and sisters and his loving pet Buster.
