Cora M. White was born at Blair, Nebr., January 26, 1874, and departed this life at her home near Florence, January 15, 1927, aged 52 years, 11 months, and 19 days.

She was married to George Ford at Ft. Calhoun on March 11, 1892. To this union were born thirteen children, eight of whom survive her: Walter, of Elkhorn, Nebr.; George, of Colorado; Pearl Cooper, of Colorado; Reuben, Byron, John, James and Woodrow, at home. She is also survived by her husband, six grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers, her step-father, and many other relatives and friends.

She was well known in and around Ft. Calhoun, having lived in this vicinity most of her life, except for a few years in South Dakota and Colorado. It is only a little over a year since she returned to Florence.

Mrs. Ford was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friend.

Rev. L. W. Kurtz conducted the funeral services, held at the Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon and burial was in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
