Dr. Peter G. Grimm of Spirit Lake, Iowa answered the last call of his Maker on May 14, 1948. Had he lived until June 27, he would have been 77 years of age.

He was born in Blair and grew to manhood here. He graduated from Blair High School with the class of 1889 and immediately took up the study of medicine in the Rush Medical College of Chicago from which he graduated in 1893.

He began the practice of his profession in Buffalo Gap, South Dakota. While there he met and married Miss Edith Wilson on June 11, 1900 and later they moved to Spirit Like, Iowa where they lived until his death.

He leaves to mourn him his wife, two sons, Wilhelm of Blair and Sterling of Estherville, Iowa and one daughter, Edith Malone of Chicago. Besides these he leaves four brothers H. J., Louie and Ed of Blair and Dr. Arthur Grimm of New York and one sister, Mrs. Anna Peterson of Blair.

He was a member of the Blue Lodge of the Masons, Royal Arch Masons and of the Shrine. Funeral rites were held last Sunday in the Methodist Church at Spirit Lake with the Masons in charge at the grave.
