Wallace G. Fitch, 93, of Blair, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Wallace G. Fitch was born Feb. 2, 1906, to John T. and Louie Ethel (Cooper) Fitch in Herman.

He graduated from Herman High School and in 1931, married Gladys Gilliam. In 1954 Gladys died.

After farming in the Herman area for several years, he moved to Blair in 1942 and operated businesses for eight years.

In 1969, he married Helen Smithers, who died in 1989.

He is survived by his four children, Roger Fitch of Halstead, Kan., Bernard (Datty) Fitch of Blair, Joyce Fitch of Blair, and Mrs. Milton (Tootie) Sorensen of Blair; eleven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouses, and two brothers, Roscoe and Clyde Fitch.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
