Elizabeth Lantry (Calabeck)

Mrs. Elizabeth Lantry died very suddenly of heart trouble at 12:15 last Thursday morning, and the funeral was held at the George Lantry home at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Stansbury officiating. Her exact age isn’t known, but she was about 95 years old. She was born in Ireland and came to America when she was 13 years of age. She was first married to Robt. Giles, with whom she had one son, Robt., who now lives in Crofton, Neb. He died in 1853 and she married to Jos. A. Lantry in 1865. Of this union she leaves three sons, Joe, of Oskaloosa, Ia., George and Charley, of this city, and one daughter, Mrs. Ellen Folk, of Russell Kans.
