Services for John Fitchhorn, 61, of Blair who died at Good Shepherd Home January 16, 1993, were Monday, January 18 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

John Vernon Fitchhorn was born August 31, 1931, at Blair to Glenn and Mildred Campbell Fitchhorn. He attended school at Honey Creek and graduated from Logan High School in Logan, Iowa.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1954. He was a lifetime member of the Kings Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Norma and sister Leatha McBride.

He is survived by his children, Peter, Seattle, Washington; Johanna Williams, Tekamah; Marsha Pollgreen, Kingston, Washington; a step-son and wife, Dan and Ruby Meyers, Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Mildred Clark of Blair; one brother, Glen Fitchhorn; and two sisters, Wanda Frahm and Loretta Wackerbarth, all of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
