Margarette “Margaret” Ann Kingdon (Young)

Margaret A. Young was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky, January 23, 1837, and married to W. H. Kingdon, February 9, 1865, and came to Nebraska in July 1865, and came to Nebraska in July, 1865, and settled on a homestead near Arlington. After the death of her husband in August, 1878, she moved to Cumming City, and from there she came to Blair, where she lived for a number of years. Three years ago, she went to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Swift, of Pittsburg, Kansas, where she died, April 28, 1918. She was buried in Mr. Olive Cemetery at Hutchison, Kansas, May 1st. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Moore of this city and Mrs. Catherine Swift of Pittsburg, Kansas, and one brother, S. W. Young, of Milford, Nebr.
