Services for Gleatha E. Vice-Boyd, 70 who died December 27, 1993 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 30 at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Gleatha E. Vice-Boyd was born April 4, 1923 on a farm in Richardson County, Nebraska to Fred and Hala Woods Vice. She grew up in the Falls City area and attended Dawson High School and Shubert High School.

She was baptized in the Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun.

She married William H. Boyd in Omaha June 12, 1943. She was a wife, mother and grandmother during her lifetime.

She is survived by her husband, William; a son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Judith E. Hawkins Body; a granddaughter and her husband, Cindy and David Vogt; two grandsons, Craig Boyd and Jason Boyd, all of Blair; two brothers, Noel Vice and Lloyd Vice, both of York, Nebraska and four sisters, Melva Thomas, Gertrude Risen, Deloris Georges and Hala Bentzinger, all of York.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
