Services for Hannah E. Fitzgerald, 91, who died at Florence Nursing Omaha, October 29, 1992, where she had lived for the past three years were November 2 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. Rev. James F. Schwertley officiated at the Mass of the Resurrection. Burial was in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Omaha.

Hannah E. Fitzgerald was born October 21, 1901, in the Garryowen neighborhood southeast of Fort Calhoun to Daniel and Johanna Fitzgerald. She resided in that area until 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, John, James and Daniel.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Anna C. Fitzgerald of the Garryowen area; eight nephews and nieces and their spouses, John and Margaret Fitzgerald and Patricia and Carlton Miller of Fort Calhoun; Terrence and Martha Fitzgerald, Thomas and Linda Fitzgerald, Michael Fitzgerald and Margaret and James Townley, all of Garryowen; Mary Ann and Francis Dillon, Gretna, Nebraska, and Sr. Sheila Fitzgerald, O.P. Spokane, Washington; 21 grand-nephews and nieces, one great- grand-nephew and one great-grand-niece.

Pallbearers were Terry Fitzgerald, Mike Fitzgerald, Robert Fitzgerald, Bill Fitzgerald, Tom Gepson and Jim Townley.

John A. Gentleman was in charge of arrangements.
