Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys M. Boysen, 78, of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair were held February 27, 1988, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.

Rev. Daniel Solomon of Pohocco Lutheran Church officiated. Burial was in Pohocco Lutheran Cemetery, south of Fremont.

Mrs. Boysen died February 24, 1988, at Good Shepherd.

She was born November 22, 1909, in Millard, and attended rural schools near there.

On March 8, 1930, the former Gladys Sievers married Walter Boysen in Papillion. They farmed in Douglas County for several years, then moved into Omaha for seven years, before farming again in Saunders County near Leshara.

Her husband, Walter, died in March, 1964.

She was a member of Pohocco Lutheran Church in Saunders County, south of Fremont.

Survivors include a son, Jack Boysen of rural Fremont; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Carre) Vogt of rural Blair, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Ann Vojtech and Lois Blumer, both of Omaha, and Marie Blumer of Gretna.

Ludvigsen Mortuary handled the arrangements.
