STANLEY BRACKEN FORMER BLAIRITE DIED IN ILLINOIS

Stanley Bracken, 76 years of age, former Blairite, and brother of Mrs. Mabel Sylvis of Blair, died Friday at Plano, Illinois.

Mr. Bracken was a retired former president and chairman of the Western Electric Company. He served as president from 1947 to 1953. He also served on boards of the Teletype Corporation, Nassau Smelting and Refining Company, Bell Telephone Laboratories and the Chemical Bank and Trust Company of New York.

Mr. Bracken was a 1912 graduate of the University of Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife, Nora; daughter, Mrs. H.B. McCullough of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters Mrs. Sylvis of Blair and Helen Bracken of Omaha.
