Services for Raymond C. Bradbury, 77 of Fremont who died March 12, 1994 at his home were Tuesday, March 15 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. Rev. Frank Lerdemann officiated. Burial was in Moser Cemetery in Fremont.

Raymond C. Bradbury was born April 23, 1916 at Hooper. He was raised and received his education at Hooper where he then farmed.

He moved to Schuyler in 1949 and farmed. In 1952, he moved to Fremont.

He began carpentry work and developed the Bradbury Addition. He also worked for the Fremont Public School System from 1979 until 1982 and did carpentry work and maintenance. He retired in 1982.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anglers Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Antique Car Club, all in Fremont.

He married Eilene Pollard August 22, 1942, at Hooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anna Rasmussen Bradbury and a brother, Russell.

He is survived by his wife, Eilene; a son, Ron of Lincoln, Nebraska; a daughter, JoAnn (Mrs. Gary) Hilgenkamp of Arlington; a brother, Sterling of Mesa , Arizona; a sister, Darlene Lott of Fremont; four grandchildren and three great-grandsons.

Pallbearers were Duane Knoell, Jom Robinson, Leonard Bouc, Charles Wilcox, Rick Hilgenkamp and Dennis Mach.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
