Mrs. Henry Plant Buried At Ft. Calhoun

Mrs. Henry Plant, who was brought to Ft. Calhoun for burial beside her father, brother and other relatives, was born near Blair about forty-one years ago and lived with her parents in the vicinity of Ft. Calhoun over twenty years before they moved to Douglas County, where she was married to Henry Plant about five years ago. She leaves her husband and a dear little adopted girl besides her mother, Mrs. Hossack, her step-father, and five brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Maccabees and a Maccabee Chaplin from Omaha preached the sermon in Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. The pallbearers were six Maccabee women members from Omaha or Florence. A very large number of people, mostly from Florence, attended, and among others were Mrs. W. B. Barton from northwest of Blair; and Mrs. Burgess Sager from Blair.

Mrs. Joe Bolin and Mrs. C. Rathjen rendered the music. The flowers were many and very beautiful.
