Thomas Jade Michrina, 63 of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away May 4, 2018 at his home. Services are currently pending.

Tom was born February 12, 1955 in Yokohama, Japan. He was adopted at the age of 10 months by Mike and Alice Michrina. He was raised in Carroltown, Pennsylvania and attended Cambria Heights High School. Tom served in the United States Air Force. On September 19, 1981 he was united in marriage to Viola Soders in Lancaster, Penn. On August 9, 1985 the couple welcomed their son, Michael.

Tom received the John Sousa Award as a percussionist and went on to enjoy a long career in Radio. At the age of 14 he began working behind the camera at a local TV station. Tom finished his full-time radio career in 2008 but continued part time until his death.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Viola Michrina of Missouri Valley, IA, son Michael Michrina of Blair, NE; aunts, uncles brothers and sisters in law, cousins and extended family.
