Services for Hubert H. Bradley, Sr., 76 of Kent, Iowa, who died suddenly April 15, 1993 at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston, Iowa were Monday, April 19 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lenox, Iowa. Rev. John Bertogli officiated. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery at Lenox.

Hubert H. Bradley, Sr. was born February 18, 1917 at Creston, Iowa to Hubert James and Frances Shiffer Bradley. He attended Creston School and graduated from Maur Hill Academy in Atchinson, Kansas.

He married Bernadine Baker August 28, 1940 at Creston.

He farmed in the Creston and Kent areas all his life.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Lenox Stock & Saddle Club. He was also a former member of the Holy Name Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Ward Shiffer; two brothers, Fr. Bede Bradley and Dennis Bradley; a granddaughter, Annette and a great-granddaughter, Ashley.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadine of Kent; six sons and daughters-in-law, Hubert, Jr. and Betty, Creston; Thomas and Debbie, Pensacola, Florida; Harry and Laurel of Buffalo, Iowa; Donald and Sandy of Topeka, Kansas; Patrick and Terri, Charleston, Illinois and Michael and Wilma of Creston; daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Ken Luce, Oakley, Kansas; Anita and Paul Longfellow of Lenox; Linda and Mike Beaman of Des Moines, Iowa and Rose and Tim Roewert of Blair, Nebraska; 32 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Lyman and Colletta Bradley of Kent and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Lenox, Iowa.
