SERVICES HELD FOR EDNA BRAESCH

Funeral services were held Monday, July 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington for Edna Brasch, 71, of Fremont, who died July 21, 1983 of heart problems in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont.

The Rev. Norman Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in the German Cemetery north of Bennington.

Edna Braesch was born May 18, 1912, on her family's farm south of Blair. She farmed with her husband just west of Bennington until they moved to Fremont in 1973.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington.

The former Edna Voss, she married Paul Braesch on January 3, 1924. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Dennis of Norfolk and Darrell of Bennington; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Skow of Reed Springs, Missouri; two brothers, Martin Voss of Blair and Ervin Voss of Fremont; and four grandchildren. Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
