Funeral services for Hans C. Braesch, of Fremont were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. Braesch died Sunday, September 28, 1986 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Braesch was born February 27, 1904, in Washington. He was raised in the Washington-Bennington area.

He farmed in the Washington-Arlington-Waterloo area before moving to a farm near Blair. Braesch moved to Fremont in 1952. He was a seed salesman and later became a regional manager for the Oelwein Chemical Co. Braesch was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and the Lions Club.

He married Anita Dornacker, January 26, 1927, in Bennington. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Shirley) Robeson of Blair and Mrs. Merlin (Donna) Rocker of Nevada City, California; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The Rev. J. W. Berry officiated at the services. Burial was in Elk City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Salem Lutheran Church.
