Burial in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Fontanelle

MARY BRAND, 95, DIED SATURDAY AT FREMONT

Services were held Wednesday at St. Timothy's Church in Fremont for Mrs. Mary Brand, 95, who died Saturday at the Memorial Hospital annex. The Rev. Lonis J. Wolff, officiated and burial was in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery at Fontanelle. Mrs. Brand was born September 15, 1879 south of Fontanelle and married Robert F. Brand on December 11, 1901. He died December 13, 1948, and she moved to Fremont the same year.

Survivors include daughters Mrs. August Brei, Mrs. Norman Frankz of Fremont and Mrs. Elmer Boschult of Lavier, Iowa, and a son, Clyde G., of Schuyler, sister, Mrs. Lottie Newkirk of Blair, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
