Child Succumbs To Burns

Little Ione Venderslev, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Venderslev of west of Herman, died at the Blair hospital at 1:30 this morning from burns received yesterday.

The accident which caused the little one's death happened in a way that was unavoidable. Her mother was doing the family washing and while carrying a bucket full of hot water the little one was following at her heels and grabbed the bucket which her mother was carrying, turning it over her neck and body.

She was rushed to the hospital in the vain hope of saving her life but to no avail.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the home at 1 P.M. and interment will be made in the Kennard cemetery.
