Ruth Wiese, 84

Ruth Wiese, 84, of Blair, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Bergan-Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Ruth D. Wiese was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Kennard to Raymond and Emma (Misfeldt) Brown. She was a graduate of Kennard High School.

On June 3, 1942, she married Harry Wiese. The couple lived and farmed in rural Kennard.

Ruth moved to Blair in 1978 after the death of her husband. She worked for Wilkinson Manufacturing for 13 years and, most recently, for Robe Se Co in Waterloo, retiring in 2002.

She was a member of the Blair VFW Auxiliary and past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Dee Wiese of Omaha, Mickey and Angel of LasVegas, and Merle and Carolyn Wiese of Blair; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and one brother, Russell Brown.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
