Marjorie (Marge) Mae Grenier, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 23, 1927, in Washington, Neb., to Charles and Helena Misfeldt. She graduated from Blair High School in 1944. She married Edward Grenier on April 24, 1948. They moved to Worland, Wyoming in 1957. In 1962, they moved to Casper where they lived until their deaths. She worked various jobs including pediatric ward clerk at the hospital and a teacher’s aide, but most importantly served as a housewife and mother. She enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, games of chance, any kind of card or board, games and especially all family gatherings. She was a member of the Elks and Eagles.

Marjorie is survived by daughters, Judy Hansen of Blair, Kathy (Mahlon) Sorensen of Clarinda, Iowa, Cindy (Wayne) Canter of Keller, Texas, Mary Kay (Clyde) Ryan of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Renee (Tracy) Peterson of Rockport, Missouri; son, Brian Grenier of Casper; 22 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Byers of Blair, Genene Quick of Casper, Wyo., Mary Lou Jessen of Rock Springs, Wyo.; brother, Melvin Misfeldt of Arlington; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edward Grenier; sons, Ronald and Mark Grenier; grandson, Keith Sorensen; son-in-law, Paul Hansen; her parents, two brothers, one sister and special friend and companion Harry Neeff.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Bustard’s Funeral Home in Casper with Tracy Peterson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bustard’s. Interment will be at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marjorie’s name to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 South Wilson, Casper, WY 82601.
