David Earl Humphrey, age 72 of Blair, died June 2, 2018.

David was born on the Fourth of July 1945 in Auburn. He was a soldier in the United States Air Force, for four years. During his service, he spent time in Vietnam and the Philippines.

He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Humphrey an his ex-wife, Dixie Ann Humphrey.

David is survived by his son, Troy Humphrey of Blair; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Humphrey, Spencer Humphrey, Kara Morgia, Lily Humphrey and Cooper Humphrey; along with many friends and extended family in the Blair, and Fort Calhoun areas.

No visitation will be held. The memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun.

Inurnment will be at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Fort Calhoun American Legion Post #348.
