Funeral services for Alan L. Fleming, 58, who died Wednesday, August 13, 1986, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital, will be held Saturday, August 16, 10:30 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church. Rev. Perry Baublitz will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Fleming was born May 26, 1928, the son of John and Ruth Fleming of Waterloo, Iowa.

He attended Traer, Iowa, elementary school as well as Blair High School. Fleming graduated from Metropolitan Technical Community College with an associate’s degree in electronics. His hobby was operating a ham radio.

Fleming was a past member of the Civil Air Patrol.

He married Ruth I. Razey on September 1, 1967, in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Survivors include his wife of Blair, one sister, Janice Fleming of Modesto, California, his mother of Blair, and three nephews.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
