Mrs. Anderson, of Bennington, Dies

Mrs. George Anderson, well known Bennington woman, passed away in an Omaha hospital Sunday, February 15th. She had been ill but a short time.

Mrs. Anderson, who assisted her husband in the operation of the Farmers Union Co-Operative Company in Bennington, had a wide acquaintance throughout the community.

She was born July 28, 1908 at Bennington and spent her entire life there.

On November 18th, 1931 she was married to George Anderson and to this union was born a son, Alan, also of Bennington. The survivors include her husband, George; the son, Alan; a brother, Arnold Schroeder of Perkersburg, West Virginia; a sister, Mrs. Howard Kranbeck, of Gretna, Nebraska.

Other survivors are 2 aunts, Mrs. Olive Schroeder of Omaha, and Mrs. Charles Bosselman of Grand Island and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon with Pastor Lorin Wolf officiating. Interment was made in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Omaha. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church and was active in church and civic work in the community.

Pallbearers were H.E. Roe, Raymond Schuedt, Chester (…illegible…) Glandt and Merle (…illegible…)
