Published in the Tribune February 28, 1918

The funeral of Milo Ide, only son of Horatio and Addie Ide, of Dakota, was held at Rosehill Church Sunday. Milo was the only son and left his Dakota home during the recent cold spell and went to Omaha to enlist in the Navy. Up on reaching the home of relatives there he was taken with acute pneumonia and died in two days. His parents being former resident of Washington County and a number of their people being buried at Rosehill, the services were conducted there. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of all in their sudden bereavement.
