Frank Leo Thomas, 76, of Blair passed away June 14, 2018, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Funeral services will be held at a later date and will be provided by Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his children: John (Stacey) Thomas of Ute, Iowa, Michele Thomas of Ute, Iowa, Bryan Thomas of Soldier, Iowa, and Troy (Shellie) Thomas of Kennard; grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Holz, Cheri (Adam) Hadden, Shay Melby, Taya Thomas, Chris (Ashley) Hunter, Cory (Gloria) Hunter, Matthew Parkhill, Michael Hammer and Nyssa Thomas; several great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Thomas King; and his beloved cat, Murray.

Frank Leo Thomas, age 76 of Blair passed away June 14, 2018, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home with a memorial service at 7 p.m.

Frank was born on November 22, 1941, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Francis and Adaline Thomas. He was raised in the River Sioux area and attended school in Mondamin, Iowa, where he played baseball through school.

His favorite hobby was restoring his antique tractor and taking it to parades. He loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events and visiting with his coffee buddies on a daily basis. Frank retired from working at CON-E-CO after being a dedicated employee for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his children: John (Stacey) Thomas of Ute, Iowa, Michele Thomas of Ute, Bryan Thomas of Soldier, Iowa, and Troy (Shellie) Thomas of Kennard; grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Holz, Cheri (Adam) Hadden, Shay Melby, Taya Thomas, Chris (Ashley) Hunter, Cory (Gloria) Hunter, Matthew Parkhill, Michael Hammer and Nyssa Thomas; several great-grandchildren, sister Mary Thomas King, sister-in-law, MJ Thomas, brother-in-law, Roger Totten, and his beloved cat, Murray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret Thomas, daughter, Ginger Masters, grandson, Jason Masters, brothers, David Thomas and Johnny Thomas, sister, Judy Totten and brother-in-law, Lyle King.
