The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Jacobsen, who passed away Saturday afternoon, was held at the Danish Church on Tuesday, Rev. Theo. Schultz having charge of the services. Her maiden name was Catherine Jensen, and was born in Denmark, Feb. 1, 1853. She and her husband came to America in 1890, the husband dying the same year. Three children, Jacob, Anna, and Mrs. Jens Anderson, survive and live in this county, while a fourth child, the eldest daughter, still reside in Denmark.
