Louise Lallman Published in the Tribune May 23, 1918

Mrs. Louise Lallman, widow of Herman Lallman, one of the pioneer women settlers of Washington County, died last Friday at her home, in Fremont. The funeral was held Sunday at the Lang Lutheran Church north of Fontanelle at 2 o’clock. Burial was at the cemetery near the church. Mrs. Lallman was born in Wisconsin August 13, 1853. She came to Washington County with her mother, Mrs. Aegert in 1865. Forty years ago, her marriage to Mrs. Lallman took place. They resided on a farm near Fontenelle until about ten years ago when they removed to Fremont. Mr. Lallman died in 1911. Surviving are three children, one son. E. F. Lallman, of Fontanelle, two daughter, Mrs. William Strainger of Fontanelle and Miss Frieda of Fremont, and two sisters, Mrs. William Peters of Oakland and Mrs. Minnie Siebrasse of Leigh. ~~~Obituary courtesy of the Washington Genealogical Society.
