Mrs. Catherine Jenkins died at the home of her son, Fred Jenkins, at Benson, on Saturday June 8, 1918. Deceased was born at Upton Station, Kentucky, August 5, 1842, and was nearly 76 years of age. She was married to John Jenkins Feb. 16, 1868, and was the mother of eight children, six of whom are living. The funeral was held in the Christian Church in Blair, conducted by Rev. Foreman of the Baptist Church, and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
