William P. Maher Dies at Benson

William P. Maher died at his home in Benson Saturday morning after an illness of several months from diabetes, the direct cause of his death being the rupturing of a blood vessel.

Deceased had lived practically all his life in and around Blair and was generally known and highly respected. Nearly a year ago he moved from his farm home south of twon with his wife to Benson, where he expected to enjoy life and rest from the hard work in which he had been actively engaged for many years. He was 55 years of age and a member of the Catholic Church.

Beside the wife there are left of his relative to mourn his death, three sisters among whom are Mrs. J. K. Powers, of Blair, and one brother, James A. Maher, also of this city. They body was brought to Blair Monday afternoon and interred in the Catholic Cemetery, northwest of the city.
