Services were Sat., Oct. 12 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home for Kenneth Brechbill, 69, of Blair who died Oct. 10, 1996 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Kenneth A. Brechbill was born March 6, 1927 near Burwell, Neb. to Elmer and Hazel Alder Brechbill. He graduated from Sargent, Ne. High School in 1943.

He entered the navy in 1944 and served 26 months during World War II.

He moved to the Blair area in 1953 and had resided in this area until his death. He worked for Blair Manufacturing for 29 years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles and Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He married Donna Cooper Sept. 20, 1947 in Sargent, Neb.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Kathy Brechbill, Blair and Tim and Diane Brechbill, Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Ray Elwood, Lincoln, Neb.; five grandchildren, Carri (Mrs. Jeff) Siedlik of Kansas City, Mo., Tami Erixon and Bret Erixon, both of Blair; Ryan Brechbill and Kelsey Brechbill, both of Omaha; one brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Orma Brechbill, Sierra Vista, Ariz. and one sister and brother-in-law, Ermagene and Rich Hiser, Apache Junction, Ariz.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
