Frans Doelman
March 30, 1933 – March 18, 2018

Frans W. Doelman, age 84, was born in Brussels, Belgium, immigrating to the USA after WW2.

He passed away on 3-18-2018 in Lakewood, WA.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Ruth Stork of Arlington, Neb. Frans had a 32-year career in the USAF in service to his country, flying as a navigator in B-52 Bombers and C-141 Cargo airplanes. They settled and raised their family in Lakewood, WA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by their 3 children, Mark Doelman (Stephanie), Christina Martin (Dwight), and Catherine Hawkins (Craig), five grand-daughters, two step-grandsons, and two great-grandsons. Military Honors and Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, in Kent WA, and memorial services will be at Christ Lutheran Church in Lakewood, WA.
