Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church for Lucille Brei, 86 of Fremont, who died Oct. 13, 1996 at Arbor Manor in Fremont. Rev. Dana Mark is officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery at Fontanelle.

Lucille Brei was born April 12, 1910 in Washington County near Arlington to Robert F. and Marie Kruger Brand. She graduated from Hooper High school in 1928 and attended Midland College in Fremont.

During her working years, she was employed by Skogland Studio as a photographer's assistant, by Montgomery Ward and by Midland College as a switchboard operator and as the bookstore manager.

She was a charter member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, where she held various offices in the Women of the Church organizations. She was also active in the church choir.

She married Carl Petersen Sept. 9, 1930. They lived in Cedar Bluffs. He and two of their children preceded her in death.

She married Joseph T. Bracket April 5, 1955. He preceded her in death in 1957.

She married August E. Brei Feb. 3, 1962. He died in March of 1992.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Marilee Petersen of Waukesha, Wis.; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Earl Robertson of Golden Valley, Minn.; three step-sons and their wives, Clarence and Rosella Brei and Marlin and Marilyn Brei, all of Fremont and Harlan and Dorothy Brei of Omaha; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two sisters, LaVerle Franke of Fremont and Floma Boschult of Cedar Park, Tex.

Ludvigsen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
