Memorial services were Wednesday, March 15 at Traer United Methodist Church, Traer, Iowa, for Ruth M. Fleming, 88 of Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque, Iowa, and formerly of Blair who died March 11, 1989, at the Center. Burial was in Buckingham Cemetery at Traer.

Ruth M. Fleming was born August 4, 1900, at Coffeeville, Kansas to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sullivan. She worked for many years in the advertising department of the Omaha World Herald and was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Blair.

She married John P. Fleming. He preceded her in death in 1968.

Two sons, Robert and Alan also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Fleming of Dubuque; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Winnefred McKinnow of California.

Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home in Dubuque, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
