Joseph E. Breithaupt, 57, died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at his home in rural Blair.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Country Bible Church. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.
Breithaupt was born Feb. 26, 1940 in rural Blair to Elmer and Annie (Thompson) Breithaupt. He attended elementary school at Sutherland School and graduated from Blair High School. He served in the Air Force. He farmed in the Washington County area his entire life. He had played softball in the senior league in Omaha.
Survivors are his two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Mara Breithaupt and Jim and Barb Breithaupt; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mark Frederick, all of Blair; seven grandchildren, Ty Breithaupt, Amanda Frederick, Ashley Frederick, Whitney Frederick, Jaret Breithaupt, Chase Breithaupt and Connor Breithaupt, a sister and brother-in-law, Emyle and Gene McWilliams, Blair; a nephew and his wife, Calvin and Shari McWilliams and a niece and her husband, Kathleen and Jon Pounds, all of Blair.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
