Wes Sublett Died Friday-Local Man, 38, Died of Heart Trouble, Was Ill Seven Weeks

Ill over seven weeks with heart trouble, Wesley A. Sublett, 38, died Friday at St. Joseph’s hospital in Omaha. The body was returned to Blair and services were held at Campbell Mortuary Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. D. D. Kennedy of First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Sublett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sublett, was born in Harrison County, Iowa, March 11, 1904, and came to Blair with the family in 1906.

He and Grace Olive Springer were married in 1924. Surviving are the wife and four daughters, also his father, three brothers and two sisters. There is one grandchild.

Mr. Sublett formerly worked on the Missouri River projects here, but before returning to Blair with his final illness had been employed at Rockford, Illinois.
