Mrs. Gail Johnson, 71, Dies In Rest Home

Mrs. Gail Marshall Johnson, 71, years of age, passed away on Sunday evening at a Fremont rest home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Eason of North Bend and Mrs. Wayne J. Davies of Seattle, Wash.; one son Kent M. Johnson, of Des Moines; two sisters, Miss Leta Marshall and Mrs. J. H. Ludwig, both of Fremont, and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson, as Gail Marshall, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester C. Marshall, was born at Arlington May 13, 1887, where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Glen Johnson in October, 1912, who died May 12, 1925 after a brief illness. Mrs. Johnson lived in Fremont the later years of her life, where she was a teacher in the Fremont schools until illness intervened.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wed. Jan 14 at First Congregational Church in Arlington. The Rev. Albert C. Becker of Fremont will officiate and burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
