Nellie Pitt

Logan—Funeral for Nellie Pitt, 86, of Logan will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Logan with the Rev. Rusty Hedger officiating.

Mrs. Pitt died Oct. 19 at Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine.

She was born in Hard Scratch and attended Cass Center Country School. She and her husband farmed in Cass Township. She lived in Logan from the mid 1980s until she moved to Woodbine in 1996. She attended the Christian Church in Logan, was a 50-year member of the Four-C’s Club (Cass Center Country Club) and had been active with the Logan Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Pitt was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1977.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rob (Sondra) Dickinson of Woodbine and Mrs. Dale (Vera) Conrad of Arvada, Colo.; a son, Fred, of Logan; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery near Logan.
