Family and friends are invited for lunch and fellowship in the church hall immediately following the memorial service. The family will direct memorials.

Teresa Lynn Benson, beloved wife and mother, passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 7, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50.

She was born January 3, 1968, in Norfolk, Neb., to Roger and Sharon (Klug) Wolff. After graduating from Stanton High School, Teresa married her high school sweetheart, Rick Benson, of Stanton, Neb., on June 4, 1988. She attended college and obtained an associate's degree in business. The couple lived in Omaha, Neb., for ten years. After a move to Underwood, Iowa, in 1987, Teresa started an in-home daycare and during the nineteen years, she was blessed with over fifty children attending.

She loved children and volunteered as a Girl Scouts troop leader for many years. Teresa loved the beach, sushi, painting and baking gourmet cupcakes for special occasions. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Wolff.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; her children, Allison Meyer (Phillip), Nathan Benson (Libby Schneider), Madisen Benson; her mother, Sharon Wolff; brothers, Todd Wolff (Deb), Dan Wolff (Charlotte), Dave Wolff (Debi), Jason Wolff (Kristi), Robert Wolff (Ashley); her in-laws, Gary and Bonnie Benson.
